SOTY 2011 Champions

Below are the 15 cultivars that were chosen by the HOTY Panel of Judges (HPOJ) as the finalists to be rated by the membership. The winner of the 2011 SOTY was Black Rainbow with an average point score of 7.12. Our congratulations go out to Nola & Carlos Reynolds who were the hybridizers. The SOTY champion, along with the remaining top choices will now be entered in the HOTY 2011 competion where they will be grown at our trialing stations for 3 years and a HOTY winner will then be announced. As there was a tie for 10th place, there will be 11 cultivars advancing to the trailing phase of the HOTY competition.
